FARO Orbis Firmware 4.1.7 & Stream App Display Issue
There is a known display issue between Orbis firmware 4.1.7 and the FARO Stream app.
Issue Overview
There is a known display issue between Orbis firmware 4.1.7 and the FARO Stream app.
After successfully completing the firmware update, the Stream app may:

Continue showing the update as “In Progress”

Display an exclamation point (!) icon in the corner of the app
⚠️ Important: The firmware update has completed successfully. This is only a display issue within the app.
What Should You Do?
If you see the “In Progress” message or the exclamation point:
✔ You may safely ignore the message
✔ Continue operating the scanner as normal
The scanner functionality is not affected.
If Additional App Issues Occur
If you experience instability or issues within the Stream app:

Close the Stream app.

Operate the Orbis directly using the onboard scanner button controls.
FARO currently recommends using the scanner without the app if app-related issues occur.

This issue is known and under review.
This article will be updated once a resolution or software patch is released.
